Meet Our Current Royalty
2025 Queen - Kallie Russell
My name is Kallie Russell, and I am honored to be the 2025 Elizabeth Stampede Rodeo Queen. The Elizabeth Stampede is rich with tradition and Western heritage, and I appreciate the opportunity to help preserve and promote our rodeo’s values—courage, perseverance, and respect for animals and the land. All of these are embodied in our motto: Life, Liberty, Rodeo.
My rodeo journey began at age 7 with the Elizabeth Stampede. It continued through the Colorado State High School Rodeo Association and the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association, where I competed in barrel racing, breakaway roping, goat tying, and pole bending. I am passionate about barrel racing and have three amazing horses: Glinda, Catfish, and Maggie Mae.
Being involved with the Elizabeth Stampede from a young age has instilled a deep respect for the sport and its people. This year, I aspire to be a positive role model and help ensure the Elizabeth Stampede thrives for future generations. As a Colorado State University student pursuing a degree in Journalism and Media Communications, I hope to educate others about the rodeo’s significance and role in our community.
Thank you for your support. I look forward to representing the Elizabeth Stampede Rodeo with pride and dedication!
Hi, my name is Georgia Swanson. I am so excited and honored to get to represent the Elizabeth Stampede as the 2025 Attendant! I am from Black Forest, CO and am a sophomore at Air Academy High School. In addition to riding my two horses, Poncho and Denali, I enjoy snowboarding and racing mountain bikes on the Air Academy High School team.
Now back to my horses. The main horse I ride is Poncho and we do everything from gymkhanas, trail rides, drill team, to herding cows in Simla. The other horse you might see this year is my bay horse Denali. He loves running fast in the arena and also enjoys long mornings working with cows.
Three years ago, I was introduced to royalty at the Kit Carson Riding Club, and through that program, I got to attend the Elizabeth Stampede for the first time.
Since I was little, I have always loved the sport of rodeo and the western way of life. My goal as the Elizabeth Stampede Rodeo Attendant is to get more kids excited about rodeo. I am looking forward to getting to represent one of the best rodeos in Colorado.
Always remember LIFE LIBERTY RODEO.
