Meet Our Current Royalty
2024 Queen- Emma Considine
Hello everyone! My name is Emma Considine and I am your 2024 Elizabeth Stampede Rodeo Queen! I am honored to serve alongside Madison Montoya, our 2024 Attendant! I am thrilled to have this amazing opportunity and I’m excited for a great year!
I first attended the Elizabeth Stampede as the Kit Carson Riding Club Queen and fell in love with the family-friendly environment. The Elizabeth Stampede has been my favorite rodeo ever since!
I graduated from the Village High School in 2023 and now I am currently in college studying business marketing.
I have two horses that y’all will be seeing this year. Sandy, my 15-year-old palomino gelding, and Dancer, my 14-year-old Quarter Horse mare. I love to ride my horses; anything from trail rides to pole bending. I have been competing in the Gymkhana Buckle series for the past six years and have ridden on the Kit Carson Riding Club Drill Team for the past five years.
Rodeo is such an amazing sport and community that everyone can enjoy! I’m excited to get to share it with new people!
I can’t wait to see y’all at the Elizabeth Stampede the first full weekend in June!
Hi, my name is Madison Montoya and I am your 2024 Elizabeth Stampede Rodeo Attendant. I graduated from Elizabeth High School in 2023 and I am currently attending the Veterinary Technician program at the Community College of Denver. I participated in gymnastics throughout my childhood and competed for the Elizabeth High School gymnastics team winning four state championship titles. I was also a member and a part of the youth board for the Blazing Saddles Drill Team.
I love to work with both of my horses, Nevada and Honey Bee, doing anything from a relaxing ride to practicing and participating in barrels and poles. I love working with both animals and children. I was a gymnastics coach at Chalk Box Gymnastics and I continue to work with children through babysitting. I am currently working at Franktown Animal Clinic and continue to fall in love with Veterinary Medicine every day.
Attending rodeos and growing up around horses and livestock, I knew that I would one day want to be a representative of a rodeo and organization such as the Elizabeth Stampede that I have admired for much of my life. Being a part of the Elizabeth Stampede Rodeo is not only a dream come true, but also is a way I will be able to promote the sport of rodeo and help preserve the western way of life.
