Grants
The Elizabeth Stampede Foundation awards grants for charitable purposes and/or to assist families in our community who are in need.
The Foundation considers requests to assist educational institutions, to assist in the undertaking or completion of civic projects that benefit our community or surrounding communities, and to assist persons in need due to tragedy or financial difficulty. Grant applications are evaluated by the Board of Directors based on the purpose for which the grant is requested and how closely the purpose meets the mission and goals of the Foundation.
Application Criteria and Process
The Elizabeth Stampede Foundation offers grants for charitable purposes and to support families in our community who are in need. To apply for a grant, you must complete a grant application form and provide a letter of recommendation from an unrelated party.
Grants are evaluated based on specific criteria, including service to the community, financial need, emergencies, and educational uses. Applicants must also submit a written statement of up to 500 words addressing the needs the grant funds will help with and explaining how the grant will benefit the community, an institution, or an individual.
The deadline to apply is June 30, and applications can be completed digitally here on our site or mailed to the Elizabeth Stampede Foundation, PO Box 642, Elizabeth, CO 80107.
Grants are awarded without regard to race, creed, ethnic background, religion, or gender. The Foundation considers grant requests to support educational institutions, and civic projects that benefit our community or surrounding communities, and to assist individuals in need due to tragedy or financial hardship. The Board of Directors makes grant decisions based on the purpose of the grant and how closely it aligns with the mission and goals of the Foundation.
Grant recipients must use the funds for the stated purpose in the application. They are required to submit quarterly reports to the Foundation detailing how the funds are being used, along with an accounting of the expenditures. At the end of the project or when all funds are used, grant recipients must submit a final report to the Board of Directors. The Board has the authority to request audits or additional information about the use of the funds.
If you have any questions or need further information, please contact the Elizabeth Stampede Foundation.
