|Howdy fellow rodeo lovers!
My name is Caroline Ginn and I have the honor of being the Elizabeth Stampede Queen for 2013. As rodeo royalty I have the opportunity to travel and participate in many local fairs, public events, parades and rodeos all over Colorado and Wyoming. I will get to experience all of these amazing adventures with my right hand cowgirl, Kayla Schwartz, telling everyone about the great sport of rodeo, especially in Elizabeth!
I am a 18 year-old senior attending Cherry Creek High school where I swim on their junior varsity swim team. Outside of school I like to spend time with my friends, riding with the Westernaires, camping, and competing in gymkhanas. After high school I plan to head to LCCC in Cheyenne Wyoming to double major in equine science/management and psychology therapy.
I’ve been raised by my all around supportive parents, Mary and Mickey Ginn, who are at every rodeo to be the loudest cheerleaders in the stands. I have lived in the little city of Centennial for my whole life. I wasn’t raised in the country lifestyle, but I fell in love with horses at an early age. Since the first time I sat on a horse’s back, I was completely hooked. Within a couple of years I was able to purchase my first horse, Tango, and he has taught me patience and perseverance. We are growing together as we start to compete in amateur roping but we love our long trail rides with friends the most.
Lastly, I would love to thank our sponsors and committee for all of their support. However, I would also love to thank all of our fans for their commitment as we go everywhere to see them. I would love to invite the new and old fans to come out and see why Elizabeth Stampede is known for being the Best of the Best. So mark your calendars and I’ll see you down the road. Lets Rodeo!
Your 2013 Elizabeth Stampede Queen
Howdy Y’all! My name is Kayla Schwartz and I’m excited to have the privilege and honor of being the 2013 Elizabeth Stampede Attendant. I am 16 years old and a junior at Elizabeth High School. I have two horses, Toothpic and Tyson. I compete in local team pennings, ranch sortings and local barrel racing jackpots throughout the year. When I’m not with my horses, I enjoy hanging out with my friends, going to movies, singing, and dancing. I’m pumped up and ready to go for an exciting year with the 2013 Elizabeth Stampede Queen Caroline!
Representing the Elizabeth Stampede as royalty Caroline and I have the chance to travel and participate in PRCA rodeos, and other public events. I’m proud to be able to promote the Elizabeth Stampede, my favorite small rodeo.
I am looking forward to flying the Stampede colors at this year’s rodeo, and at many others. I hope all of you come out and see the PRCA Small Rodeo of the Year. I’m ready to saddle up and let the rodeo season begin.
I can’t wait to see y’all on the road!!
