We recognize that every volunteer has limitations in their time, ability, what they can do and what they are willing to do. We will reward volunteers for the things they can do. We will ensure volunteers are thanked and we will appreciate jobs done well.
We recognize committee chairpersons have taken on a big commitment. They are charged with the responsibilities tasked to their committee. We recognize that they may have limitations in their time and knowledge, so we pledge to make our liaison program the best we can. Our committee chairs must recognize the importance of the committee concept and be prepared to distribute tasks and ask for ideas from their committee members.
We commit, that as directors, we will be available to our committees to help in any way possible. We agree that the success of every committee is required in order to have a successful rodeo.
We commit that we will treat volunteers, contestants, sponsors, vendors and fans with respect. Take care of them better than we would want to be treated.
We understand that there will always be differences of opinion and those differences are healthy for our organization. However, we do pledge to hear what is being put forth and work out a solution that is good for everyone and will be a positive for the stampede.
We pledge to take all interpersonal conflicts seriously. Problems should be handled directly and by parties involved. If there is a need for a third party to help the situation, the directors have many resources at hand to help.
We obligate ourselves to provide our sponsors and vendors with the highest return on their investments.
We agree that everyone must focus on what is best for the rodeo, even at the expense of personal interest.
We agree to provide the best value for the entertainment dollar. Our end product is entertainment and everything we do revolves around that.
