The Elizabeth Stampede Vendor Committee would like to invite you to the 2016 Elizabeth Stampede! This year we are having a big name country music singer play Thursday evening June 2nd around 7:00 pm to kick-off the rodeo weekend. Check the website in the next few weeks for who it will be. In the past we had vendors setup on Friday afternoon, but this year you have the option for an additional $50.00 for merchandise vendors and $100.00 for food vendors, to setup Thursday afternoon to be ready before, during and after the concert. Foundation Christmas Donation

This year for Christmas, the Elizabeth Stampede Foundation has donated 80 pairs of women’s jeans, 10 dresses, and four shirts with a retail value of $6,026 to Douglas/Elbert Task Force. This donation marks a new milestone for Elizabeth Stampede Foundation—the largest dollar value of a single gift. With the help of more than 200 volunteers, donations, grants, and merchandise sales at Treasures on Park Street, D/ETF provides essential services, food, financial assistance, and material goods to county families in need. This year for Thanksgiving, the Elizabeth Stampede Foundation is giving full feasts to thirteen families who might otherwise not be sitting down to a warm turkey dinner with all the fixin’s. Elizabeth Elementary School counselors helped identify families that would benefit from having a little help during the holiday. WWII veteran Jack Plylar was one of the honorees at the 2013 Elizabeth Stampede Red White and Blue Rodeo. Wes Wahlert, the Galeton, Colorado bull rider, was the winner of a pair of Justin Bent Rail Collection Boots in the 2015 Elizabeth Stampede Rodeo Contestant Incentive.
