Tara Hiatt, 2017 Queen
Hello everyone! I am excited to have the honor and privilege to serve as the 2017 Elizabeth Stampede Queen. I have grown up in Elizabeth and have attended the Stampede Rodeos every year of my life. My passion for the Elizabeth Stampede inspired me to become a representative for the rodeo and the rodeo lifestyle.
As a senior from Kiowa High School my future plans are to study pre-veterinary medicine and equine science and to one day pursue my goal as an equine vet. I am involved in FFA, NHS and a eight year member of 4-H. My partner is Spirit, a 13-year-old Quarter Horse gelding who I have owned for six years. We compete in local gymkhanas, English and Western shows and working cow horse.
I am very thankful for my family who supports me with all my royalty responsibilities, I definitely could not accomplish this without them and the many Stampede volunteers.
I hope to see you all at one of the best small PRCA rodeos in the Nation June 2nd, 3rd and 4th, in beautiful Elizabeth, Colorado! The rodeo in the pines is one you do not want to miss!
Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. Proverbs 3:5-6
Cassidy Esposito, 2017 Attendant
Hello Everyone! My name is Cassidy Esposito and I am honored to serve as your 2017 Elizabeth Stampede Queen Attendant. I am
16 years old from Parker, Colorado and I cannot wait for a year of fun experiences serving my community and enjoying my favorite sport of rodeo.
I am currently a Junior at Ponderosa High School. My school activities include being a member of the back-to-back State Champion Ponderosa Varsity Poms/Dance team since my freshman year. I am also involved in DECA, an international association of marketing students, getting to compete in events throughout the year and representing my school at the State and National level as well as organizing school events and community service. As a member in 4-H, I have served as an of cer of my club for four years and show various animals including my horses, ducks, and chickens. I began competitively riding in 4-H and open shows seven years ago. Over the years I have been privileged to ride my horse Felix, a 13-year-old Arabian Paint gelding. You will see me riding him throughout the year in English and Western pleasure shows, speed events including barrel racing and pole bending, working ranch horse, reining, and of course various rodeo events.
I am very thankful to have a supportive family which includes my mom and dad, and my brother Logan. They support me every day to reach my goals, I couldn’t do it without them!
I look forward to sharing my year with you as the 2017 Elizabeth Stampede Attendant and cannot wait for all the experiences to come. I hope to see you at the 2017 Elizabeth Stampede
June 2-4, 2017 for all the rodeo fun!
